Mittelmarch is the Indianapolis chapter of Belegarth. We host weekly practices on Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. We welcome new players at any practice; feel free to stop by for more information, or bring your friends and come ready for battle! One Saturday practice a month is the Mittelmarch Monthly Melee, a monthly battle with special scenarios. The Melee is typically held on the first or second Saturday of the month, averaging 30-40 attendees from the tri-state area.
Olympics is a four-day event with a full schedule of activities including two days of themed battles, singles and group tournaments, classes on craftsmanship, culture and fighting techniques, night fighting, active night life in the pavilion and surrounding camps, arts and sciences and bardic competitions, merchant booths and a trading post. Olympics is typically held in April each year, averaging 350-400 attendees nationally.
WAR features two teams that battle to conquer and defend territories along several terrains. Fighters are encouraged to take breaks on their own time, but the battle will keep going; this is an event for people who like to fight hard. WAR is typically held in October each year, averaging 250-300 attendees.
